ASUE HAS SIGNGED MEMORANDUMS WITH A NUMBER OF INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITIES OF ECONOMICS
Armenian State University of Economics has signed memorandums with “South Eastern”, Colombo (Sri Lanka), “Adamson”, Manila (Philippines), “Gadjah Mada”, Yogjakartayi (Indonesia) Universities of Economics.
Khoren Mkhitaryan, the Head of the Science Division, who was on a business trip in the mentioned countries from November 22 to December 13, informed ASUE Media and Public Relations Division that an arrangement was reached with each of the mention Universities. So, according to the memorandum signed with the Vice-Rector of Science and International Relations of “South Eastern” University, Colombo (Sri Lanka) a visit is planned to our University on February -March, 2014 to develop professional exchange programs.
It’s expected to provide double diplomas, as well as to conduct mutual research projects according to the signed memorandum with “Adamson”, Manila (Philippines).
“Gadjah Mada”, Yogjakartayi (Indonesia) is the largest University in the region. It’s planned to fulfill 2 programs: exchange programs of PhDs and applicants and Faculty staff . The visit of the mentioned Universities Administrations to our University is planned on March-April, 2014, during which appropriate agreements will be signed.
The internationalization programs of the Universities are highlighted by the RA Government, as a management priority direction of education sector. From this point of view, the memorandums signed with the mentioned Universities and strengthening international cooperation will contribute to increase the efficiency of educational and academic activity at ASUE.
Our University has already signed memorandums with Universities of Economics in Romania and Poland. I’ll add that a project in partnership with Eastern European educational market is planned”; outlined Khoren Mkhitaryn.
Note, “Virtual Conferences” are planned to be held with the Administration of the mentioned Universities soon.
