ASUE REPRESENTATIVES PARTICIPATED IN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN ROSTOV

Acting  Head  of the  Chair  of   International Economic Relations  at  ASUE, Candidate  in Economics, Associate  Professor Grigor  Nazaryan  participated  in   International  conference (forum) entitled “Innovative Potential of Economic Modernization: Logistics and Marketing Tools”   organized  by  South-Russian Logistics Association   joint  with  Consumer Market Department  of  the  Government  of  Rostov  region on October  10-11.

In the  interview  with  ASUE  Media  and Public  Relations  Division Grigor  Nazaryan  outlined the  importance  of participation,  mentioned  that  issues  of  logistics  of transport were highlighted  within  wide   framework  of  the  conference,  which   are  essential  in  the  RA  as  a  sea-locked country,  for  developing strategies of  complex  of  transportation logistics.

The  representative  of  our  University   presented  a  scientific  report  entitled  “Priorities of  Sea-locked Countries’  Transportation Logistic Development”, the  report  was  also  published  in the collection “Innovative Potential of Economic Modernization: Logistics and Marketing Tools”.

“I have  been  participating in the forum  for  the  2nd  time. It’s  so  important  to communicate  and exchange  experience  with  leading  specialists from different  countries (Russia, Germany, Ukraine and etc). I  have  referred to  existing  problems   in the  system of transportation logistic. Studying  the  topic I  have  recorded  that   Bocvana  have  the  best  position  among  155  sea-locked countries,  Armenia is  the 100th one, Russia is  the 95th one. 

There  is  a  problem in our  country  regarding  improvement of  this  index. Note, the  index  includes  6 items: efficiency of customs procedures, quality of trade and transport infrastructure, clarity  of  organizing  delivery  with  competitive prices, skills  and  quality of logistic services,  skills  to follow  and  to  observe the  process of transit cargo”; said  Grigor  Nazaryan and  added  that, participating  in the conference, new  themes  for  research had  been found out,  which  he  would  present  in future conference.
