ASUE LECTURER WON “THE BEST SCIENTIFIC WORK 2013” AWARD
“The Best Scientific Work” award ceremony took place today at the RA Writer’s Union.
Note, that the RA National Academy of Science, World Armenian Congress and the Union of Armenians in Russia joint with the RA Ministry of Diaspora have announced a competition entitled “The Best Scientific Work” for young scientists (till 35 years old) devoted to the 70th anniversary of the RA NAS.
Lecturer at the Chair of Management at ASUE, Candidate in Economics Vilen Khachatryan won the 2nd prize in “Economics” nomination.
The scholar presented scientific work entitled “Financial-Economic Crisis and Post-crisis Development Trends in the World and Armenia”.
Vilen Khachatryan told ASUE Media and Public Relations Division that his scientific work was devoted to the world’s financial-economic crisis started in 2009, which was observed with two directions: what impact the crisis has on the World and Armenian economy.
“I have presented a co-authored monograph and three scientific articles within the framework of research topic. A monograph was devoted to the assessment of short-term social impact of financial-economic crisis on the RA economy, and the articles mainly regarded the crisis and post-crisis developments in the world’s economy, involving the problems of economic slowdown, currency and banking crisis of increasing state debts”; mentioned the young scholar.
