THE LAST SESSION OF ASUE SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL FOR THE 2012-2013ACADEMIC YEAR

The last session of ASUE Scientific Council for the 2012-2013 academic year took place today at ASUE Conference Hall. Within the framework of the first issue of the agenda the Vice-Rector of Educational-Organizational Matters Mihrdat Harutyunyan presented a report regarding the results of the second seminar's. Referring to academic progress of the first-third courses in different educational programs the Vice-Rector highlighted that the progress of the second semester of full-time Bachelor's program is as much as it was the last year, that's 71,5 percent, the progress of full-time Master's program after the main examination process is 78,6 percent comparing with the last year's one 78,4 percent. Academic progress of part-time Bachelor's program is 43,3 percent comparing with last year 24 percent, part-time Master's program is 63,2, last year was 45,5. Concluding the report Mihrdat Harutyunyan underlined that the examination period of the second semester was passed without incidences.
Preparatory works of organizing rest of ASUE workers and students at "Tntesaget" sport health resort was presented as the second issue of the agenda. 
The Vice-Rector of Educational-Methodological matters Paruyr Qalantaryan presented a report regarding changes in multi-fector procedure of assessing knowledge. The new procedure will be posted soon in official website of ASUE. The Scientific Council unanimously approved the resolutions after discussion of the presented issues.
Closed secret vote took place during the session regarding vacancies of professors at the chairs, as well as awarding scientific title of Associate Professor.
The Vice-Rector of Science and International Relations Gagik Vardanyan presented issues of establishing themes and scientific directors of thesis, which were approved. 
3 educational manuals were guaranteed for publication.
