OUR UNIVERSITY PRESENTED ARMENIA IN WORKSHOP OF BEIJING FINANCE AND ECONOMICS INSTITUTE

A  workshop  was  organized   by  the initiative  of  Beijing Finance  and Economics  Institute, Chine  on May 7-29,  which  was  attended  by  the  Heads  of  different  divisions  of  Universities in developing countries.  Armenian State  University of  Economics  on behalf of   the  Head of  Scientific Division  Khoren Mkhitaryan   presented Armenia  in this  workshop.  He  informed  ASUE  Media  and Public Relations  Division about  this  and  mentioned  that  15  countries  had  participated  in it, including  representatives  of  different  Universities  in   Caribbean and the Pacific Basin, the Maldivian islands.  Participants  from Georgia  and  Kyrgyzstan  (the  Former  Soviet Union)  were also  present.
“The  workshop  was  devoted  to both  internationalization  of  scientific  researches  and  the  problems  of  implementing  educational  reforms.  It’s  interesting  that  almost the  same  problems exist in all  developing  countries”,  said   Khoren Mkhitaryan   and  mentioned  that  he  had a primary  agreement  to  create cooperation  relationship  with  a term  of at least 2 years  long  with  Business  School in Bahamas  and  with  Faculty  staff  of  National  University  in  Fiji.
Khoren Mkhitaryan  informed  that  the  group  of  workshop visited  Shanghai  Institute of Foreign Trade,   met   the  representatives of  Faculty  staff, got  acquainted  with  educational  reforms,  academic  process.

“We  met  4  students  from Armenia  who  study  there, they  told  about  their  student  life and  academic  process”,  said  Khoren Mkhitaryan  and  mentioned  with  satisfaction  that   Armenian students  had  created  a  corner  devoted  to Armenia  in foreign  University  and  kept  high  the  honor  of  their  country.
Certificates  were  handed  to  all  participants  of  workshop.
