TO DEVELOP SPORT IN THE UNIVERSITY: KORYUN ATOYAN HANDED AWARDS
ASUE Rector Koryun Atoyan hosted ASUE girls’ volleyball team headed by the acting Head of the Chair of Physical Training, First Aid and Civil Defense Simon Hakobyan today.
“I congratulate you on the behalf of the University staff for the victory and express our gratitude to you”, Koryun Atoyan told the students and added that the University is not only a place to get education, but also to display in different fields. The Rector thanked the athletes and the coach of the team and highlighted that comfortable conditions had been created to develop sport in the University. Koryun Atoyan called the students always stay in touch with their own University even graduating from it. The Rector handed the students monetary awards for the victory.
The students expressed their gratitude to the Rector for paying attention to sport and physical trainings, as well as for evaluating their victory. One of the oldest member of the team Ani Gevorgyan mentioned that they had waited for this victory for years, then thanked the coach Simon Hakobyan for helping and supporting them for the achieved victory. One of the athletes gifted her won medal to the Rector.
The acting Head of the Chair of Physical Training, First Aid and Civil Defense Simon Hakobyan expressed his gratitude not only for the attention directed to sport development in the University but also for quick response to all problems.
