INTERDEPARTMENT CONTEST OF PAINTINGS IN THE FRAMEWORK OF “STUDENT AUTUMN 2012” FASTIVAL

Interdepartment contest of  paintings in the  framework of “Student autumn 2012”  sport-cultural festival  started  in the  park  in front  of  ASUE  at 14:30a.m..

The teams  had  one and a half hours  and at the end they  presented  their  works  to  the  jury.

“Today  your  works  will be  assessed  by  well known  painter, a  winner  of  different  contests  and  prizewinner  Hrayr  Grigoryan  and  Gevorg  Soghomonyan,    a  member  of  the Union of Artists,  Vice-Director  of  Yerevan  state   College of Humanities”  said  Sevak  Khachatryan, the  President of  Student Council,  presenting  the  jury.

Then  the  jury  looked at  the  paintings  and  assessed  each of  them.  So the    the team of  the Department of  Regulation  Economy and International Economic Relations  won the  first  place,  the  team of  the  Department  of  Management  won the 2^nd,  the  team of  the  Department of  Computer Science and Statistics  won the  3^rd places. One  picture  was  chosen as the  best  one  of  the  contest.  Note  that Lilit  Ghazaryan,  the  4^th course student  of  Macroeconomic  Forecasts and Policy  specialty,  was the  author  of  the best picture “Abrasion”.

“It’s  great surprise  for  me  to see   so many talented economist artists.  Thank you for  giving me  such  a  beautiful day”, said  Hrayr  Grigoryan.
Sevak Khachatryan said that  the  events of  “Student autumn 2012”  would  be  interrupted   because of   intermediate  exams.  The  events  will be  continued  after  the  end  of  the  exams.
