PRESENTATION OF "MANAGEMENT OF COLLECTIVE INVESTMENT SYSTEMS" EDUCATION PROGRAM AND OPEN LESSON IN ASUE

A  presentation  of   “Management  of  collective investment  systems”  Master  education  program   took  place  in  Armenian State  University  of  Economics  today,  October  12,  which  was  attended  by  Artem  Asatryan, the  Minister  of  the  RA  Labour  and  Social  Affairs,  Artak  Ghazaryan,   the  Director  of   Awareness   Center  of  Pension   System,   Garik  Hayrapetyan,  the  representative  of    UNO  Population  Fund,  Tadeos  Avetisyan,  the  Head  of  the  Departmnet  of  Labor and Employment  of   the  RA Ministry  of   Labour  and  Social  Affairs.

It  was  an unique  presentation of  a  new  Master  program,  which  has  been  introduced  in  the  Chair  of  "Financial markets and institutions"  of  ASUE  Department  of  Finance  in the  result  of  the  signed  Memorandum  between  the  RA Ministry  of   Labour  and  Social  Affairs  and  Armenian State  University  of  Economics  last  year .

Welcoming  the  guests  and  the  started  joint   activity,  ASUE  Rector   Koryun Atoyan  said: "The  competition  in education  market  has  reached to  a  enormous dimensions  today.  We  won't  have  future  if  we  don't  have  a  new  qualitative  education  today.  The  employer  can  only  give  an  assessment  to  the  quality  of  our  education.   That's  why  we  won't  have  qualitative  result  without  a  cooperation  with  the  employers".   The  Rector  mentioned  that  the  University  didn't  implement  the  employer's  order  but  implemeted    joint  education plans,  developmnet of  programs,  organization  of  joint  educational  processes  and  manufacturing practices,  exams,  up  to the  joint  protection of  graduation  thesis,  "both  the  University  and  employer  win".  

Artem  Asatryan thanked  the  initiators   of  the  cooperation. "We  have  a  problem:  our  Universities,  educational  institutes   should  prepare  specialists,  who  are  competetive  in  labor  market  and  satisfy  today's  demands",  said  Artem  Asatryan,  mentioning  that  the success  of  invested pension difficult  system  in the  Republic  depanded  on  professional  skills  of    young  specialists  of  a new  generation.  Then  in the  framework  of    open  class  the  Minister  presented  the  ways  of  effecive  investment  of  pension  system,  the  mechanisms  of    formation  and  development  of  reforms.

 Artak  Ghazaryan,  the  Director  of   Awareness   Center  of  Pension   System,   mentioned  in his  speech  that  due  to  the  invested education  program  the  system  would be  provided  with  qualified  specialists  of  pension  sector,  who  would  have  a   great   request  in  labor  market  and  would  have  new  thinking,  new  psychology, new knowledge  appropriate to spirit of reform.

Tadeos  Avetisyan,  the  Head  of  the  Departmnet  of  Labor and Employment,   specified  those  target  directions  which  would  support  the  implementation  of   “Management  of  collective investment  systems”   specialty.    Tadeos  Avetisyan  presented  that  trainings  of  lecturers  and  students, having  high  progress,  would  be  spent  in  abroad,  seminar  competitions  would  be  spent in each  semester, the  education conditions  would  be  improved,  an  elecrtonic  librery  would  be  created,  a  special  courses  of  Civil Service  would  be  spent  with  appropriate  certificates.

Note, that  33  applicants  have  entered  with   “Management  of  collective investment  systems”   specialty.  In general,  ASUE  has  implemented  8  Master   educational  programs  with  6    offices,  having  a  goal  to  prepare  specialists  with  new  programs,  new  approach  and  at  the  same  time  to  solve  the  problem of  work.
