THE ETIQUETTE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE: A SUBJECT OF STUDY OF OUR STUDENTS (PHOTOS)
The 3rd course students of full-time Bachelor program of ASUE Tourism Mangement specialty and the 5th course part-time students of the same specialty spent their lesson of “Food Service Management” subject in “Ani Plaza” hotel by the initiative of Stepan Mantarlyan, an assitant in the Chair of Tourism and Crisis Management. The workers of ASUE Media and Public Relations Division highlighted the students’ visit.
“This hotel is reach with halls, offers different services, whereas many years ago there was only one room. I have started my career from here and I should say that there are people, who have been working in this field since 20 years old and they are ready to exchange their reach experience” applying to the students, noted Stepan Mantarlyan and added that such practicale trainings can teach a lot and are very important for the future managers. “We are a hospitable nation, but we don’t know the rules of hospitality. They are very important in management and provision of food service”, said Mantarlyan, accompanying the students to the hall of Swedish table. Mihrdat Harutyunyan, an experienced expert in service field, the Deputy of the Director of “Hrazdan” hotel, and Razmik Hunanyan, the Head of the Hall, met ASUE students.
The latters indroduced the advantages of the Hall, mentioned that a number of visitors are served in this Hall. Then the students visited the Hotel’s kitchen accompanying Mihrdat Harutyunyan, got acquainted with the works taken place there. The practical lesson went on in Celebrations Hall. Here they got acquainted with all rules of hospitality, the Vice-Director of “Hrazdan” hotel mentioned that the Head of the Hall should meet the guests and disposal round the table. Mihrdat Harutyunyan refered to all rules of Etiquette, introducing the provision forms and methods of different meals, soups, juices, drinks, the dishes designed for them and the important and main work done by waiter.
