ASUE SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL'S SESSION TOOK PLACE (PHOTOS)

ASUE   Scientific Council's  Session   headed  by Koryun Atoyan, ASUE Rector, the President of Scientific Council, Doctor of Economics, Professor, took place  today.

The  University's Scientific Council's Session started with awards ceremony.  According to Koryun Atoyan's speech   Suren Gevorgyan, the  Head of the Chair of Environmental Economics,  Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor , was awarded for  honored work.  

Robert Suqiasyan, the Head of  Higher and Postgraduate Professional Education  Department of the  Ministry of Education and Science,  awarded Suren Gevorgyan with  the  highest award  of  the  Ministry of Education and Science: gold  medal for his contribution  in Education and Science  field and the 60th birthday anniversary.  The  second  award was handed  to Levon Khcheyan, an Associate Professor of the Chair of Theory of Economics, Candidate  of  Economic Sciences. Koryun Atoyan, ASUE Rector, announced that Levon Khcheyan was awarded with ASUE gold medal for economic development and the significant contribution  in preparing future economists.  Koryun Atoyan announced that  Levon Khcheyan wasn't present at the ceremony  because of health problems, but  the  medal  would be transferred to him. Note  that Levon Khcheyan celebrated  his  70th birthday anniversary on June 1.

Asot Matevosyan, the Dean of the Department of Accounting and Audit ,  had a report conncerning to the research and scientific works of  the  Department of Accounting and Audit.  Grigor Terteryan, the President  of ASUE Trade  Union, presented  the  process  of organizing  the students'  and  workers' summer holiday  in "Tntesaget"  sport-health camp in Dilijan.

An election took place  during  today's  Scientific Council's Session: Hovsep Aghajanyan, Professor of  the Chair of Theory of Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor,  was  elected  the Head of  the Chair of Theory of Economics.
