THE DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTIVES OF EUROPEAN CIVILIZATION AND THE FUTURE OF THE HUMAN BEING WERE DISCUSSED IN ASUE CHAIR OF PHILOSOPHY

A scientific workshop took place in the ASUE chair of  Philosophy today.  Aram Sargsyan, the head of the Chair, Professor, presented the report with the topic of “The Development Prospectives of European  Civilization and the Future of Human being”.  Characterizing   “Civilization” concept, he noted that civilazation had been created by sedentary people only, i.e. it was incurred during Neoliti Period in the East, particularly Mesopotamia and  Egypt. Then the Professor passed to European or Western Civilization.

   “European Civilization, developing,  brought with him both positive and negative events. The development of science and technology in the economy and culture is positive. The negative events also connected with science and technology. The development of the latter made the human life dull, changing it into the human mass”, said the speaker, noting that the human being, creating the technology, came out  against men. The  Professor noted the ways which would save the humanity from the evil that brought the civilization and would make it a spirit.

   Suren Sargsyan, the professor of the Chair, Marieta Nikoghosyan, Associate Professor, Yuri Hovakanyan, Melania Harutyunyan participated activly in the discussion.
