ASUE Board Chairman and Rector were Hosted at “Student Summer – 2017” Sport-cultural Festival

On August 18, the RA Vice Prime  Minister, Minister  of Ministry of International Economic Integration and Reforms, ASUE Board Chairman, Vache Gabrielyan, was hosted  at “Student Summer – 2017” sport-cultural festival held in sport-health resort of Armenian State University of Economics in Dilijan. ASUE Rector, Professor, Koryun Atoyan, Vice President of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, Coordinator of Board of Trustees Youth Foundation of Armenia, Karen Avagyan, ASUE Vice Rectors Paruir Kalantaryan  and Sevak Khachatryan, Director of ASUE Financial and Economic College, Sergey Kharatyan, also  visited the festival attendees. The campers greeted the  guests with Armenian festive dance, representing “Berd”, which has become a beautiful tradition and  is demonstrated during almost all measures of ASUE Student Council. The guests had dinner with the students, spent the evening around the festive fire, and the students had the opportunity to ask questions to Vache Gabrielyan.

Special attention is paid to the issue of organizing vocation of employees and students in ASUE activity. This is part of our University's social policy. Though tickets of  sport-health resort are affordable and have a symbolic value, free tickets are allocated to about hundred students  each year  by  ASUE Rector’s  suggestion and the University  Leadership’s decision.

25 representatives  of academic  staff and  students  of  Artsakh State  University are  invited  to Dilijan for  several years. This year another project was introduced – 20 free  tickets  to employees  of ASUE academic  and administrative staff.

“We have focused our attention on both medical insurance and effective organization of employees’  and  students’ vacation. There are many problems, but we are trying to improve the conditions of the resort every year and to create new opportunities for our employees and students. It is also gratifying that the traditions of our  resort do not disappear, but are reinforced and we are  a part of it. The  visit of ASUE Board Chairman is  one  of these traditions”; ASUE Rector, Koryun Atoyan, stated.

P.S. Department of Computer Science  and Statistics has won sport-cultural competitions of the  festival  held  by Youth Foundation of Armenia  and ASUE SC.
