ASUE student Vahan Ter-Balyan is six-time Russia’s wrestling champion
Vahan Ter-Balyan, the 3rd year student of Finance department has started new year with great sport success. Our targeted athlete once again won the title of champion in Russia’s Wrestling Championship 2018, held in Ekaterinburg, Russia from January 29 to February 2. Thus, Vahan was an absolute winner and got 3 gold medals and 3 diplomas. With a decisive victory our student has won ticket for the European and World Wrestling Championships.
Media and Public Relations Division hosted Vahan Ter-Balyan, congratulated him and had a talk about sport achievements and upcoming events. Inspired athlete is already preparing for the European Championship and at the same time seriously treats his education. He tries not to skip classes, be present at lectures and perform the assignments. By the way, Vahan successfully passed the 1st semester examinations.
By the way, Vahan won the "ASUE Best Student Sportsman" nomination at the contest announced by the Student Council. Vahan is also included in ASUE Best 10 Student Sportsmans’ list.
