Open Lecture on Features of Financial Auditing

ASUE Chair of  Managerial Accounting has initiated  a series of lectures delivered  by representatives of the RA Central Bank for students  of Department of Accounting and  Auditing.

Today, the  last  lecture on features  of financial auditing was delivered  by Narine Malakyan, Head of the  RA Financial Auditing Department, ACCA internationally certified, Mary Badalyan, acting Head of the  Department, Liana Grigoryan, Head of the Chair, Vahan Babayan, Associate Professor, Bachelor’s  and Master’s degree  students attended the lecture.

Narine Malakyan introduced two  key issues – function of  internal  auditing, the  role  of  financial auditing in it  and functions  of external auditing in ensuring the effectiveness of internal control activities. Discussion around the  presented  topic was  held,  questions and observations were expressed.

Vahan Babayan  told  ASUE Media and Public Relations Division that students  have gained practical knowledge  and professional skills due  to  the delivered lectures.

“We  are  sure that  our  initiative was  useful, as students  had chance  to be  aware  of new requirements, competitive standards of both Armenian and  International the labor market”; stated Associate Professor.
