Visit to Polytechnic University of Valencia

Nerses Gevorgyan, Head of the ASUE Quality Assuarance Division and Varazdat Hovhannisyan, Head of the NUACA Quality Assurance Department and the Associate Professor of the Chair of Engineering Geodesy were hosted at the Polytechnic University of Valencia in January, 2018, within the framework of “Erasmus +”  Education Interdisciplinary Reform in Tourism Management and Applied Geo-information curricula (HERITAG, 561555-EPP-1-2015-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).

Nerses Gevorgyan noted that the purpose of the visit was the discussion and finalization of the second year of the "Project Management" Master’s Degree Program at Polytechnic University of Valencia, as well as the financial, technical and administrative issues related to the visit of the students. During the five-day working visit, co-educational program coordinators met with geodesy and cartography, business and tourism representatives. An agreement was reached with the International Relations Manager of Polytechnic University of Valencia to apply for International Credit Mobility Programs (LP 1). During the meeting with the Vice Rector of the University, the issue of signing an additional agreement was discussed, which would regulate issues of implementation, evaluation, material, financial, technical and human potential of the third year of Master's degree program of "Project Management".

Let's remind that HERITAG aims to develop an interdisciplinary reform in higher education programs at master level and continuing education integrating Geo-information Technologies (GIT) applied to cultural heritage documentation, tourism management and entrepreneurship.
