Motivating Seminar for ASUE Students

Today, the  Chair of Commerce and Business Organization conducted theoretical seminars on “Young professionals integration to labor market and the current problems”  and “Scientific-research activity: What? Why? How?” by Gurgen Ohanyan  and Anna Mardumyan.

The seminar was  attended by Vice Rector of Educational-methodological matters Paruir Kalantaryan, Dean of the Department of Marketing and Business Organization Tatul Mkrtchyan, Head of the  Chair  of Commerce and Business Organization Mikayel Mardumyan, professors, students.

Gurgen Ohanyan, analyzing the involvement of youth in the labor market, expressed confidence that the job market does not match the educational system, investment in education is not effective. They observed  youth employment problems in the world, then several factors of  unemployment were  pointed  out. Gurgen Ohanyan made a comparative analysis of EU countries and Armenia on youth employment, statistics  were presented.

Next speaker Anna Mardumyan explained the motives for engaging in research. The speaker, based on her own experience, said that the research work is one of high-paying jobs in Europe, and one of the  advantages  is that the  individual is  studying the topics he/she is interested in.

The  attendees raised  interesting questions  and  observations. Paruir  Kalantaryan and  Mikayel Mardumyan answered  them.

In the  interview  with ASUE  Media and Public Relations Division Mikayel Mardumyan mentioned  that these  seminars  aimed  to present the  successful experience of  young  people in professional field.

“We have many talented students and it is  so important to lead them in the right direction in order to be able to exercise the knowledge and find their proper place in the labor market”; summed  up the Head of  Chair.
