Agro insurance system in Armenia should be introduced gradually

Today, “Agro Insurance” SEG presented  the  final  results  of  the  research  /“The ways of introducing agricultural risk insurance system in the Republic of Armenia”/.  Here  are  the  members  of  the  group:

Armen Vardanyan, Candidate  in Economics, Assistant Professor,

Mary Makunts, PhD,

Levon Kocharyan, MA student.

Khoren Mkhitaryan, Head of  ASUE Science Division, collaborators  of  “Amberd” research center, lecturers, PhDs  attended  the  presentation.

Samvel Avetisyan briefly  presented  the  done  work,  final  results of  the research.

“Agro insurance system in Armenia  should be introduced gradually: insuring 50 percent of the crop area  during ten years”; mentioned  Samvel Avetisyan, highlighting  state  support for  effective implementation of the system.

The  head of  the  SEG thanked the participants of the research  for  consistent and competent  work.

Khoren Mkhitaryan thanked the “Agro Insurance” SEG  for the  conducted  productive work  and  suggested to  prepare electronic version of  the  research to  post  it  in the  official website  of  the  University,  and for  publication in autumn.
