Peter Tumanoff was the guest of the Club for English-speakers

Today ASUE Club for English-speakers hosted the Fulbright scholar Peter Tumanoff, who delivered a lecture on “Comparative Economic Systems and Development”. Representatives of the chair of Languages and students attended the lecture. Acting head of the mentioned chair Susanna Chalabyan presented the guest.

The professor spoke about the common characteristics of the economic system, explained the role and function of social institutions, analyzed it from different perspectives. In the context of overall economic development strategy, the professor presented his own approaches and observations. Peter Tumanoff also answered the questions: what are the economic systems and social institutions?

At the end of the meeting, the students and professors asked their questions.
