Outgoing Lecture and Inter-university Scientific Seminar Within the Frames of "Erasmus +" Program

On December 12-18, 2021, Hayk Bejanyan, Lecturer at the Chair of Banking and Insurance, PhD in Economics, visited Poznan University of Economics and Business (Poland) within the frames of EU “Erasmus +” program.

The visit of ASUE lecturer was carried out with a full and effective agenda: he lectured, had meetings with the academic staff of the University, discussed opportunities for cooperation.

“I lectured mainly on public finance management, in particular, on fiscal policy, public debt management, and public budget performance appraisal for the international students of Poznan University of Economics and Business. I tried to combine some practical tools and exercises with the lecture, which interested both the students and the Polish colleagues"; Hayk Bejanyan noted.

He had meetings with the representatives of the academic staff of the University, got acquainted with the research abilities of the University, discussed opportunities for scientific cooperation.

Hayk Bejanyan also adds; "The cooperation was closer with the academic staff of the Public Finance Department, as we have quite common scientific interests, which were the basis for a number of agreements. As a result, we decided to organize a joint inter-university scientific seminar, to present our research, as well as an agreement on the free publication of scientific articles by ASUE staff in the scientific journal of Poznan University of Economics and Business was reached”.

On February 5, 2022, a scientific seminar was held by ASUE and Poznan University of Economics and Business according to the agreements reached. ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan, the representatives of the academic staff of the two Universities participated in.

After the opening speeches, the participants listened to the researchers: Hayk Bejanyan, Evgenia Bazinyan and Narek Karapetyan, who presented the research entitled "Opportunities for Introduction of Early Signaling Systems in the Republic of Armenia" carried out within the frames of AMBERD Research Center, and Anna Civiek, PhD student at the University of Poznan, presented the outcomes of research on "A New Framework for Effective Business Profit Taxation in the EU". Professional discussion was held.

Let’s recall, that the cooperation of ASUE and Poznan University of Economics and Business within the frames of "Erasmus +" program is quite active. In this semester ASUE 2 students are studying at University of Poznan with an exchange program. At the same time, ASUE lecturers have already taught at the above-mentioned University through an exchange program, and in the near future there will be new business trips.

In the perspective of cooperation, joint researches, exchanges of students, lecturers, administrative staff, joint participation in international grant programs, organization of events, conferences and seminars are planned.
