ASUE lecturers took part in the Paris Peace Conference

On November 11-12, 2022, ASUE Associate Professor Anna Karapetyan and Assistant Professor Nora Ayvazyan of the Chair of Environmental Economics took part in the fifth Paris Peace Conference, which united high-ranking officials, businesspeople, representatives of leading universities, NGOs and scientific centers from Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.

During the conference, issues of environmental protection, sustainable development goals, global climate change and effective resource distribution were discussed from political, environmental and social standpoint.

Our delegates actively partook in the discussions of environmental issues, proposed some solutions that would reduce the impact of harmful factors on the environment.

ASUE delegates have bright impressions from the conference, and are apt to apply the knowledge and experience obtained there in their professional work, to improve study programs and to expand cooperation horizons.
