Paruir Jangulyan – Director of ASUE Foreign Relations Department

Paruir Jangulyan was appointed as Director of ASUE Foreign Relations Department according to acting Rector Ruben Hayrapetyan’s decree on March 14.

Here is the short biography of the newly appointed Director.

Paruir Jangulyan is a project management specialist and has more than eight years of professional working experience with the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, the World Bank, as well as the state system and the business community.

He was the Head of the Investor Support Office of Development Foundation of Armenia, supporting the implementation of operating foreign companies’ investment projects in Armenia.

Has a working experience with US state governing bodies in the spheres of "cost-benefit" analysis of economic policy and legal acts as part of the PFP professional training program conducted by the U.S. Department of State.

He was awarded the title of PhD in Economics by the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.

Graduated from Yerevan State Institute of Economics in 2006.

He won DAAD scholarship in 2014, carrying out research on foreign direct investments at the Faculty of Business and Economics, the University of Bremen.

He has authored six scientific articles related to foreign direct investment risk assessment, legal regulation and effective investment policy.

Let’s recall, the University new structure has been established at ASUE Board session held on March 11, according to which ASUE Foreign Relations Department has been founded. It’ll coordinate the activity of 3 divisions – Foreign Relations, Labor Market and Alumni Affairs, as well as Lifelong Education and Trainings.
