Regular session of the Scientific Council

On May 22, the regular session of the ASUE Scientific Council convened under the leadership of Armen Grigoryan, Acting Rector of ASUE and Chairman of the Scientific Council. After the approval of the agenda, the Dean of the Faculty of Management, Manuk Movsisyan, introduced a report on the outcomes of the faculty's academic performance, comprehensively detailing the faculty's activities across all domains and spheres.

Following the dean's report and the question-and-answer session, the Scientific Council assessed the report as satisfactory.

Ara Mkrtchyan, Chairman of the Competition Commission affiliated with the Scientific Council, addressed the issue of participation in the competition announced for the vacant positions of professors.

Following that, the university head introduced the regulations for admission to the master's degree program of ASUE for the academic year 2024-2025, along with proposed amendments to the working regulations of the scientific-methodical and educational-methodical commissions affiliated to the Scientific Council. The changes proposed were approved by the Scientific Council.

Karen Grigoryan stated that surveys were conducted among ASUE administrative staff and lecturers, professors, and students. The objective was to measure the satisfaction levels of both internal and external stakeholders concerning the organization's activities and resource provision, as well as to assess their needs as stakeholders.

Tatevik Vardanyan presented the results of the survey conducted to evaluate the internship results and processes of the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.

Grigor Nazaryan, Chairman of the Admissions Commission, presented the results of the admission of the applications for full-time bachelor's degree for the 2024-2025 academic year. According to the report, a total of 1918 applicants applied for the 76 free education and 1134 paid education places allocated to ASUE.

As a conclusion of the session's agenda, the university head also addressed the issue of publications in journals indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases, underlining the importance and necessity of ensuring publications in these prestigious journals.
