Ruben Hayrapetyan: We should Create Fair Conditions for Students – Rectorate’s Board Decrees on Students’ Concerns
Yesterday, a number of issues have been recently discussed among the students, were touched upon during the Rectorate’s Board session - the 3rd and 4th year students dismissed by the old academic programs or former students released according to their submitted application, under-graduate students who haven’t overcome the threshold of computer exams, review "Labor Economics" and "Human Resource Management" test bases.
First, Ruben Hayrapetyna, ASUE acting Rector highlighted that he had received a number of students’ concerns on the mentioned issues, and the session was held not to be indifferent to their concerns and to give proper solutions to the issues raised. Listening to the approaches of the Rectorate’s Board members on the issues, the Head of the University noted; "Our main principle is to keep the principle of justice as much as possible”. Ruben Hayrapetyan noted that the decision of the Rectorate’s Board on the issue is short-term and the whole academic process will be substantially revised. "Today's decisions are exclusively related to this case, and we are just stepping forward”.
Here we present the Rectorate’s Board decrees based on the application addressed to the Minister of Education and Science of the RA and the N 01/06.2/2181-19 writ of the Minister on February 18:
