“Copernicus Berlin” Association Presented its Programs

Today,  ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan hosted the Executive Director of the German "Copernicus Berlin" Association David Budaghyan. The meeting was also attended by Babken Amiryan, a student of Finance specialty at ASUE Faculty of Finance, who, participating in the International Excellence Scholarship Program (IES) of the Copernicus Berlin Association, became a winner among more than 400 participants.

Let us recall,  our University has recently signed a memorandum of cooperation with  “Copernicus Berlin” Association.

Rector Diana Galoyan welcomed David Budaghyan, and congratulated Babken Amiryan on winning the competition with honor, and for studying at a leading German University.

Davit Budaghyan made practical proposals for further expansion of cooperation, presenting the international educational programs and scholarships implemented within the framework of the "Copernicus Berlin" program, the competition procedure, and the prospects for students. He stressed that studying economics  in leading German Universities will be favorable for our country, and expressed hope that our University will, in its turn, nominate and guarantee its best students. In particular, regarding the International Excellence Scholarship Program (IES), which our student will study, he mentioned that it envisages both study and internship.

Rector Diana Galoyan valued the German educational system, noting that it is one of the best in the world, and expressed hope that the cooperation will be effective. The Rector noted that the University Leadership is open to discuss other formats for cooperation.

Then, David Budaghyan met with ASUE students, introduced "Copernicus Berlin" Association, the team, the administrative staff, the volunteer group, spoke about the values they believe in, touched upon the scope of cooperation, stopped at the programs offered to students: IES, Talent Show, Leaders for Future, International Seminars.

The students inquired in detail about each program, selection criteria, examination procedure, etc., and received comprehensive answers. And Babken Amiryan kindly presented his experience of applying for and winning the competition, urging to apply, overcome and win.
