The Publicity of AMBERD Experts’ Views will be Ongoing: Davit Hakhverdyan
The experts of the AMBERD research center of the University of Economics have been actively conducting interviews, presenting the outcomes of the implemented research work. In particular, the members of the research team commented on the details of the study on "Challenges and Opportunities for Turkey to Unblock Armenia". While being interviewed by 1in.am, Anna Pakhlyan, Head of the research team, Associate Professor at the Chair of International Economic Relations, PhD in Economics, touched upon the problems of the local producer in case of opening of the Armenian-Turkish border, Tatevik Vardanyan lecturer at the Chair of International Economic Relations, touched upon vulnerability of Armenian producers in case of opening borders, and Susanna Aghajanyan, PhD in Economics, spoke about the problem of re-launching the transportation roads.
Samvel Avetisyan, senior expert of the Center, Doctor of Sciences, Professor, warns about the urgent problems in the field of agriculture on the eve of spring.
"Publicity of the research activity outcomes of AMBERD is one of the key directions of our activity. So, the end of our study on Armenia-Turkey economic relations coincided with the relevant decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, according to which all the previously adopted restrictions on Turkey were removed. From this point of view, the research can be considered really interesting, especially it contains well-founded, future-oriented economic assessments”; Dr. David Hakhverdyan told asue.am expressing hope that the publicity of AMBERD experts’ view would be ongoing.
