Triple Jumper Levon Aghasyan Represented Armenia at the European Championship and Took the 5th Place
On March 5-7, the 36th European Winter Athletics Championship was held in Torun, Poland, attended by 733 athletes from 40 countries (405 men, 328 women).
Runner Alex Donikyan, triple jumper, 5th year (part-time) student of ASUE Faculty of Marketing and Business Organization Levon Aghasyan represented Armenia.
Levon overcame the qualifying round, then took the 5th place in the final with the result of 16m 55cm.
While being interviewed Levon Aghasyan mentioned that this was the first big championship in terms of the epidemic.
"In general, I am satisfied with my participation, but, as always, I feel that I could achieve more. Now I am getting ready for the summer championships, I am ready to perform better"; the athlete noted.
