The new edition of the "Amberd" series, entitled «Impact of youth labor migration and opportunities for the prevention in the process of changing the demographic situation of communities» is now accessible on ASUE official website.

The research was led by Zoya Tadevosyan (research team leader), and Tadevos Avetisyan, Tatevik Mkrtchyan, Albert Hayrapetyan, Diana Matevosyan, Hamlet Mkrtchyan, and Alik Torosyan were members of the research team. The team's consultant was Vahe Bulanikyan.

Through an analysis of socio-demographic indicators pertaining to the emigration of youth’s labor force and interviews conducted with heads of regional communities, the authors elucidated the motives driving youth migration, the destinations of emigration, and the impact of migration on demographic trends. Additionally, the authors formulated a series of measures in response to their findings.

The research group extends its gratitude to Artak Markosyan, Advisor to the RA Ministry of Economy; Arman Sargsyan, Deputy Chairman of the Union of Armenian Banks; Vanand Karapetyan, Director of the National Institute of Labor and Social Research; and Gagik Makaryan, President of the Employers' Union, for their deep cooperation and invaluable expert assessments.
