ASUE and Tavush Regional Administration Will Carry Out Joint Research

The Armenian State University of Economics (AMBERD Research Center) and Tavush Regional Administration will carry out joint research. The basis of the cooperation was fixed by signing a memorandum of cooperation and a partnership meeting. Yesterday, ASUE Vice-Rector for Science Tatul Mkrtchyan and the director of AMBERD Research Center Davit Hakhverdyan visited the Regional Administration.

Tatul Mkrtchyan told asue.am that the meeting was initiated by Tavush Regional Administration, after getting acquainted with the research "Model of Socio-Economic Development of the RA Lori and Tavush Marzes" carried out by ASUE AMBERD Research Center.

The meeting with Tavush Governor Hayk Chobanyan and the representatives of the Regional Administration took place in a constructive atmosphere. According to Tatul Mkrtchyan, the prospects of effective and substantive cooperation were discussed in detail, it was decided to develop approaches and models of sectoral development in the region, to raise problems, to point out solutions, which can become a basis for policy development. According to the Vice-rector, an agreement has been reached to carry out the research in a number of directions, which will be clarified in the near future.
