ASUE delegation has returned from Saint Petersburg

ASUE Vice-rector for Science Tatul Mkrtchyan and Director of Amberd Research Center Davit Hakhverdyan had a working visit to Saint Petersburg on May 19-21. ASUE delegates have signed the Memorandum of Cooperation at the University affiliated to Inter-parliamentary Assembly of Eurasian Economic Community, as well as they discussed issues of mutual interest, spoke about new activities and programs to be carried out.

The Russian side highly appreciated the works on the project “Opportunities of shaping scientific and technological consortium” that Armenian State University of Economics was entrusted with.

“Opportunities and perspectives of cooperation are abundant especially in the area of research” – Tatul Mkrtchyan pointed out during the interview. He also added that the work agenda was rather full: “We discussed numerous questions concerning the issues of mutual interest during our two day visit. I would like to inform that the possibility to establish technological laboratory branches affiliated to the Eurasian Inter-parliamentary Assembly at our university was also discussed”.

During the working visit, questions on participation of ASUE in the annual economic conference of Eurasian Economic Union to be held in November and December were also discussed.
