Armine Sahakyan is graduating from her Master’s degree program in “Corporate Finance” and successfully defended her master’s thesis. She assured us that would have presented it even better and her speech would have been more determined if she did not get so excited. Nevertheless, the examination commission highly assessed her work.
Associate Professor of the chair of Finance, PhD in Economics Edgar Aghabekyan was present at the defense of two different groups and is satisfied with the results. “My impression is positive, as the students are ready and perfectly present their topics and their practical analyses are really beneficial. And this is because they all work and have practical knowledge as well”.
Bachelor’s degree students in their final year, specialty “Economics” were presenting their works when we were shooting. Member of the commission, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the chair of Macroeconomics Knarik Vardanyan told: “Our students defend their final works on high level, they answer to the questions posed by the members of the commission very correctly and in a flexible manner. The average points of our students are 15-16 and we have also students that get 20 points”.
Head of the chair of Management and Business of YSU Karlen Khachatryan is the Chairman of the final attestation commission of ASUE, specialty “Management”. His impressions from the defenses of final works of the bachelor’s students are positive. He highlights that the students know the subject and have good knowledge base. “Sometimes we come across some analytical materials of general nature but the positive impression stays” – Karlen Khachatryan pointed out.
