ASUE Members were Hosted and Discussed Cooperation Opportunities in 2 Universities of Portugal
A delegation of ASUE staff was hosted in 2 Universities of Portugal in July, 2019. The first visit was organized on July 24 to the University of Minho (Portugal), attended by Armen Ghazaryan, Head of Division of Economic and Engineering, Hovhannes Gabrielyan, acting Head of the Chair of Physical Training, Emergency Situations and Civil Defense, Arsen Petrosyan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Regulation of Economy and International Economic Rеlations, Karen Petrosyan, Director of ASUE Gyumri Branch, as well as Lilit Mkrtchyan, Leading specialist of International Relations Division. Hovhannes Gabrielyan organized the meeting, who had been hosted at the University of Minho within the frames of the European University Football Championship as a member of the Presidency of the European Association of University Sports. Within the framework of the visit they meet António Paisana, Vice Rector for Administrative Affairs, and took a tour around the University getting acquainted with all subdivisions. Then ASUE members met Carla Martins, Vice Rector on Internationalization Affairs, who introduced the main directions and priorities of the University’s internationalization strategy.
ASUE delegation also presented the activities of the University of Economics in the field of internationalization, in particular ASUE internationalization process in digital terms, as well as expressed willingness to start cooperation. The cooperation opportunity with the School of Economics and Management of Minho within the frames of “Erasmus +” program was discussed, which may be the basis for further joint projects.
On July 26, ASUE staff was hosted at Polytechnic University of Porto, met Enrique Curado, Vice Rector, Christina Pinto do Silva, International Affairs Officer, as well as other collaborators presenting their universities and expressed readiness to cooperate.
