ASUE Students – IDBank Scholarship Holders
ASUE 1st year Master’s degree students Anush Harutyunyan (Macroeconomic Analysis) and Hasmik Baghdasaryan (Banking) have participated in “IDBank Scholarship” program and won (1 Million AMD scholarship for further study in Master’s degree).
The solemn ceremony of awarding scholarship was held on August 16, and as the trainings of Master's degree have started on September 9, we hurried to invite Anush and Hasmik to ASUE Media and Public Relations Division to record details and the winning result.
According to the competition procedure, the girls submitted documents in the first stage, including recommendations and CVs, essays on "Digital Bank of the Future", "One Banking Innovation”. 20 participants from 100 applicants were interviewed in the second stage, and during the meeting with the Chairman of the Bank Board /the third stage/ they were informed about their victory.
Karen Grigoryan, Head of the Chair of Macroeconomics, PhD in Economics, advised the students not only to participate in the competition, but also to work properly on relevant research topic. Karen Grigoryan highlighted that the awarded prize will compensate the tuition fee of the Master’s degree students. "I would like to note that our students actively participate in republican competitions, and our lectors greatly contribute and encourage them"; the Head of the Chair stated.
