Certificates were awarded to startups that participated in acceleration program at ASUE Change Lab

Three-month acceleration program for beneficiary startups in the innovative grant program “From Idea to Business” by RA Territorial Administration and Infrastructure that was organized by ASUE Change Lab was finalized. Six startups from different spheres had an opportunity to develop their products as well as skills of their team members.

ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan gave certificates to startup teams on May 10. The rector pointed out that this was the first joint program with RA Territorial Administration and Infrastructure although ASUE worked with startups before that as well.

“Currently, our university has adopted internationalization as its priority and we attach importance to attract international funds especially within the frames of youth entrepreneurship. We hope to involve you in that process in the future as well” – Diana Galoyan pointed out and added that ASUE Change Lab successfully implements the transfer of business skills and capabilities.

The first component of the acceleration program included 9 courses such as finance, startup financing cycles, digital marketing, branding, strategic business thinking, project management in agile environment etc.

The next component of the program was work with mentors and each startup depending on its sphere and preferences had an opportunity to work with highly qualified mentors during two months.

Acceleration program coordinator Grisha Amirkhanyan pointed out that these actions could assist the increase and product promotion and further recognition of the latter ones.

“Although the acceleration program officially finishes, cooperation between ASUE and startups will be long-term. We are ready to assist startups by means of consultations and establishment of connections” – Grisha Amirkhanyan pointed out.

Representatives of these startups were very satisfied with the program, and told that the program was flexible and lecturers were highly professional.
