One of Our Priorities - to Establish Relations with Labor Market: Ruben Hayrapetyan and Ashot Osipyan Awarded Certificates to ASUE Students
Today, Ruben Hayrapetyan, acting Rector of Armenian State University of Economics, Doctor of Sciences, Professor, hosted Ashot Osipyan, Chairman of the Executive Board of ARARATBANK, Davit Harutyunyan, First Deputy CEO. The meeting, attended by Anna Aslanyan, Head of the Chair of Banking and Insurance, Doctor of Sciences, Professor, was conducted to award certificates to the 4th year students for attending master classes in ARARATBANK at the end of 2018.
“Establishing relations with labor market is one of our priorities and being a non-commercial organization we’ll pursue an original profit that should be expressed by our students with high-quality knowledge and high professionalism”; Ruben Hayrapetyan said, noting that ASUE highlighted the cooperation with banking system and expressed willingness to review the partnership in the near future, to enrich it with new programs and approaches.
Ashot Osipyan, Chairman of the Executive Board of ARARATBANK, mentioned that cooperation with universities is a priority for them, which is an opportunity to replenish the bank with qualified staff as an employer. Ashot Osipyan thanked Ruben Hayrapetyan for highlighting cooperation with employers and noted that they had conducted master classes for ASUE students but had another proposals and were ready to support ASUE.
Ruben Hayrapetyan stated that they had initiated to create alumni network, which received a wide public response, including by ARARATBANK employees who are graduates of our university, expressed hope that the network establishment and management would create new ways for cooperation. Ashot Osipyan welcomed the initiative; “We need qualified staff and we would be grateful that as employers, we can accomplish that goal together”. He also thanked Anna Aslanyan, the Head of the Chair, for supporting the program implementation.
Ruben Hayrapetyan and Ashot Osipyan discussed projects of mutual interest related to research implementation, internship with new format, conducting trainings for Master degree students.
Then the solemn ceremony of awarding certificates was held. Ruben Hayrapetyan, Ashot Osipyan, Davit Harutyunyan and Anna Aslanyan congratulated students and awarded the latters.
Anna Aslanyan thanked the management of ARARATBANK for the cooperation, and stated that the master classes were one of the best examples of mutual interaction.
On the behalf of students Jemma Sirekanyan thanked for the initiative and highlighted the opportunity of acquiring practical knowledge.
Note, the Chairman of the Executive Board of ARARATBANK made a suggestion to allocate scholarship to ASUE students.
