Lecturers of ASUE Chair of Environmental Economics Attended Environmental Forum in Dilijan

On September 22, World Environmental Forum was held at United World College Dilijan, the representatives of ASUE Chair of Environmental Economics were invited. Associate Professors Alisa Gevorgyan, Anna Karapetyan and Assistant Professor Nora Ayvazyan, attended the forum.

The forum was attended by Armenian and foreign pupils, students, representatives of the local community, academic institutions, environmental organizations. The forum was devoted to combating climate change and issues such as garbage recycling, Lake Sevan Swamp Consequences for Armenia and the Region, expanding clean energy use opportunities, intensifying greenhouse gas management were discussed.

ASUE experts participated in the discussions, clarifying the professional issues raised.

Nora Ayvazyan submitted the information noting that cooperation opportunities with ASUE and Dilijan International School were discussed, mutual visits, organization of joint events are planned.
