Narek Petrosyan is an IES scholar

Within the frames of the scholarship program International Excellence Scholarship Program (IES) of “Copernicus Berlin” German Association, from May 25 to June 2, students of ASUE Faculty of Finance Narek Petrosyan, Arsen Harutyunyan and Alla Harutyunyan (who studies at the University of Piraeus Greece during this semester) participated in training courses “Diversity is a fact, inclusion is an act” and “Green Human Rights Matters” in Paola city of Italy.

According to the terms of the competition, the winner would study (on exchange program) one semester in Berlin and before that would get an opportunity to visit Italy and participate in the training courses.

Narek Petrosyan was recognized the winner in the final round of IES program. His presentation introduced to the participants of Green Human Rights Matters course has been approved and he has an exclusive opportunity to study in Berlin for duration of six months.

“This is my first experience of participating in student exchange program and I am excited and impressed by it” – Narek points out. The primary topic of the seminars was the prejudices between people: racial, religious etc. The students had situational discussions on the topic, as well as offered their opinion and solutions.

Copernicus Berlin organization was established in 2000 in Germany. It implements series of international and national programs and actively cooperates with ASUE. Our cooperation with Copernicus Berlin is beneficial and it will create new and perspective opportunities for Armenian youth in the future as well.
