ASUE Scientists Participants of the International Scientific Conference

Scientists of ASUE scientific-educational laboratories participated in the 35th International Scientific Conference titled "Modern Scientific Researches in the Contemporary World" held in Ukraine on March 26-27. The heads of the laboratories presented details to ASUE Media and Public Relations Division. Doctor of Economics, Professor Ashot Matevosyan, the Head of the Monetary Policy and Economic Growth Scientific-educational laboratory and Junior Researcher Tatevik Azatyan delivered a joint report, which was prepared in the frames of the interim results of the study ''Cyclical macroeconomic policy, financial regulation and economic growth'' issue. Within the framework of this article, the potential level of the industrial production of Gegharkunik region was assessed, the main factors influencing the detection were identified and corresponding recommendations were made. The interim results of the relevant research were also presented at the ASUE scientific board’s roundtable. Candidate of Physico-mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Tigran Terzyan, the 4th year students of the Bachelor's Degree of the ASUE Theory of Economics specialization Liana Mnoyan and Meri Melkonyan participated in the research. Associate Professor Sergey Suqiasyan, the head of the Financial Inclusion Scientific-educational laboratory, in the article presented the «financial stability» and its parallel concepts. “Financial System Stability” chain begins with the assessment of the “financial condition” of the commercial bank separately and refers to the financial situation of intermediary institutions. “Financial inclusion” refers to expanding the scope of recipients of basic financial services. ‟Financial development‟‟ refers to financial sector participants whose expansion of operations depends on the expansion of the scope of service recipients and which is impossible without sustainable activity. Atom Margaryan, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, head of the Innovative and Institutional Research Scientific-educational laboratory and Harutyun Terzyan, the senior researcher of the same laboratory presented reports, which are also included in the mentioned collection. They presents ''Evaluation of influence of institutional factors on economic growth'' and ''Armenia's innovation sector development trends'' reports. The head of the SEL noted that the research was the basis for a large-scale pilot survey conducted by the National Statistical Service, which was first performed in accordance with European statistical standards within the EU Twinning Project. Atom Margaryan also added that the researches on the database of the RA Ministry of Economic Development and Intellectual Property Rights Agency will be finalized in the upcoming publications and will be presented at ASUE seminars and international conferences, scheduled for May.
