"Armenians are divinely gifted and have a creative mind": RA Indian Ambassador was

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiaryof the Republic of India to ArmeniaMr. Suresh Babu Thadipaneni today visited our university and conducted a lecture on "Armenian-Indian economic relations". The Rector of the University, Doctor of Sciences, Professor Koryun Atoyan, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and External Relations Gagik Vardanyan, representatives of academic staff and students, including Indian students studying in our universities were present at the meeting. The meeting was organized by ASUE Foreign Relations Division.

Koryun Atoyan welcomed the Ambassador:Today we have the honor to host Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Armenia His Excellency Mr. Suresh Babu Thadipaneni. Taking the opportunity let me thank you on behalf of the Faculty and Students of Armenian State University of Economics to accept our invitation and deliver an open lecture at ASUE. Hosting the ambassadors in diplomatic missions to the Republic of Armenia has become a good tradition recently. This is an important opportunity for the students and Faculty to obtain updated news on economic relations and receive answers to important questions of concern for them”.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to ArmeniaMr. Suresh Babu Thadipaneni in his turn thanked the University, for the opportunity to lecture at the ASUE, and added that the latest achievements of the University were visible. He also welcomed Indian students, who had attended the meeting and expressed confidence that the ASUE was giving the best economic education in RA. During the lecture, the Indian ambassador touched upon the Armenian-Indian economic relations, Indian reforms, the main directions of development and challenges. Especially noteworthy was the ambassador`s reference to the Armenian-Indian relations. In this context, the Ambassador said that though diplomatic relations between the Republic of India and the Republic of Armenia were established in 1993, the Armenian-Indian friendship started thousands of years ago.


Koryun Atoyan concluded the meeting expressing hope that today's meeting had warmed Armenian-Indian relations a bit more. The Rector promised to do the most, to form a familiar atmosphere for Indian students studying at ASUE. Koryun Atoyan, in honor of today's meeting, presented a souvenir to the Ambassador.
