ASUE students participated at National Model UN Conference

National Model UN conference marking the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the UN took place from November 6-9. The UN Department of Public Information organized the conference.

According to ASUE Foreign Relations Division, the solemn opening ceremony of the conference was held in the RA National Assembly on November 6. Galust Sahakyan the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and Bradley Busetto UN Resident Coordinator for the Republic of Armenia welcomed the delegate students.

ASUE students Andranik Manukyan, Tatev Gevorgyan, Tatev Torabyan, Tatevik Harutyunyan, Tatevik Hovhannisyan and Tigran Markaryan participated at the conference.

The closing ceremony took place yesterday, November 9, at UN Office. During the first part of the closing ceremony the best delegates from each committee were elected, the participants were awarded with certificates and gifts. In the second cultural part, each country's delegation organized a tasting of national dishes and presentation of national culture.
