Correct orbit and principles of education for IT industry: discussions of inclusive growth

Round table in the frames of "Formation of a platform for discussions on promoting inclusive growth in RA" program took place today at ASUE Center for International Programs. The discussion was attended by the head of Swiss Cooperation Office in the South Caucasus Zara Allahverdyan, representative of the same office Lukas Lyusher, Vice Rector on Education-Methodological  Matters  Paruyr  Kalantaryan, Head of the Quality  Assurance  Division  Nerses  Gevorgyan,  representatives of IT organizations, students.

In his opening speech, Nerses Gevorgyan said that the discussions on promoting inclusive growth cover diverse areas such as education, agriculture, small and medium enterprises, financial policies and other issues. 

Bagrat Yengibaryan (head of Enterprise Incubator Foundation) and Sevak Hovhannisyan (head of the public consultation of "EV Consulting" company) reported on “Recent developments in technological sector, challenges and obstacles". Bagrat Yengibaryan presented the results of research of high-tech industry, stopping on real and pressing problems: growth rates, performance indicators, new opportunities and new positioning. Sevak Hovhannisyan presented the IT skills assessment, basic industry indices, the growth dynamics of the number of companies, etc. 

Extensive speeches were followed by a constructive debate.
