Gas supply and energy system issues were discussed at ASUE

Regular seminar-discussion on "Gas supply and energy system issues" took place today in ASUE Conference Hall. ASUE Rector, Professor Koryun Atoyan, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and External Relations Gagik Vardanyan, the head of the Microeconomics and Organization of Entrepreneurial Activities chair professor Mikael Melkumyan, deans, professors and graduate students were present at the seminar. The seminar was organized on the initiative of ASUE Chair of Microeconomics and Organization of Entrepreneurial Activities.

The head of the chair of Microeconomics and Organization of Entrepreneurial Activities Michael Melkumyan welcomed those present. Post-graduate student of the mentioned chair Suren Poghosyan took the word. The speaker reported on the main problems of gas sector of RA. After the report, the speaker presented a number of proposals.

Michael Melkumyan made a summary analysis of the current situation in the energy sector. Comments were made by an assistant professor of the Chair Ashot Yeghiazaryan.

Vice–Rector Gagik Vardanyan also welcomed the guests and highlighted the importance of the creation of the platform for discussion. He noted that a unique platform for discussions was created at ASUE to discuss issues relating to socio-economic problems. Vice–Rector said that the discussions must be a base for relevant proposals, which could be presented to RA government.
