Intercultural Dialogue: 'Sokut'' ensemble gave a concert.

Today ASUE Big Hall hosted the Iranian National Instruments “Sokut” (translated silent) ensemble. The Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and ASUE Foreign Relations Division had initiated the concert. University deans, students and staff representatives were present at this beautiful cultural event.

Before the concert, ASUE Media and Public Relations Division spoke to the translator and consultant of the Cultural Center of the Embassy of Iran to RA Georg Abrahamyan, who noted that the concert was an intercultural dialogue in the context of Iranian Nowruz, spring and New Year holidays.

The audience warmly met the musicians, their beautiful performances. Lavish applause showed that the Iranian culture was close to our soul and spirit, and Iranian folk songs had close ties with Armenian music.
