COOPERATION BETWEEN ASUE AND “ARMBUSINESSBANK” GOES ON
Today, Chairman of the Executive Board of “ARMBUSINESSBANK” CJSC Arsen Mikayelyan and Deputy Manvel Sahakyan were hosted at Armenian State University of Economics and they awarded scholarship certificates to socially vulnerable ASUE 3 students.
Introducing the guests, ASUE Rector Koryun Atoyan thanked for the interaction, then noted that Armenian State University of Economics has a cooperation agreement with Union of Banks of Armenia, and carries out separate cooperation with Armenian banks.
“The key action is to prepare a specialist who meets the employer’s requirements: both we and employers are interested in this process, cause it’s possible to carry out productive activity only by the best staff”; noted the University Head emphasizing the cooperation with “ARMBUSINESSBANK”.
Chairman of the Executive Board of “ARMBUSINESSBANK” CJSC Arsen Mikayelyan awarded the certificates and noted that they pay a great attention to the best students and provide them scholarship cards with great pleasure.
He also mentioned that they have new proposal for the University, as a result of which the best students will be employed. “Thank You for the cooperation, it’s a great honor for me”; mentioned the Chairman of the Executive Board.
In response, Rector Koryun Atoyan expressed gratitude, then suggested to clarify the possibilities of strengthening further cooperation, then urged to present proposals on University curriculum. The Rector also spoke about the possibilities of teaching at the University by the Bank’s best specialties.
Then the Rectorate Board passed to agenda issues. The Deans reported on the results of the 1st and 2nd stages of retaken session of the students having up to 12 credits and transferred to the next course.
The acting Head of the Chair of International Economic Relations Grigor Nazaryan reported on the project of awarding double diplomas of ASUE and Rostov University of Economics, noting that the letter turned to our University with a proposal to award double diplomas for 3 specialties, then presented other details regarding the process.
Members of Rectortae Board discussed other details on the issue, and Koryun Atoyan urged to study the regulatory basis, opportunities for carrying out the process, current experience in other Universities.
