ASUE YEGHEDNADZOR BRANCH IS 7 YEARS OLD

On December 20, 2014,  ASUE  Yeghegnadzor Branch celebrated the  foundation seven years.

Republican conference  on “Development priorities of  educational system in regions  of  the  Republic  of Armenia” was  held.

Director  of  the  Branch  Sos  Khachikyan  made  an opening  remark  and  stressed that  the content of  the  topic  proceeds  from both the  University mission  and  priorities of the Government program.

ASUE  Rector, Professor  Koryun Atoyan, governor of Vayots  Dzor region Harutyun Sargsyan  and Mayor  of  Yeghegnadzor  Davit  Harutyunyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Poland  Edgar  Ghazaryan,  who  is   the founding director of the branch,  congratulated the 7th anniversary    of  the  Branch.

Branch  Director Sos  Khachikyan, Vice Director Arpine  Hovakimyan, lecturer Narek Saratikyan  and MA  alumni Argishti Mikayelyan  presented  reports  during the  conference,  and  other reports  were discussed during  round  table.

After  the  conference a  measure  was held which  was  attended  by  the  governor  of  Vayots  Dzor,  lecturers, students.

The  governor, Director  of  the  Branch,  President  of  Student  Council Hayk Harutyunyan made  welcoming  remarks.

 Nominations  of the  best course, the  best  students  of  2013-2014  academic  year  were announced  during the  measure: the  best  course-the  3rd  year  of  tourism  management, the  best  students- the 2nd  year  MA  student  Karen  Isakhanyan  and the 2nd year BA student  Astghik Khalatyan. The  students who  actively  participated  in  University  life  were  also  awarded  certificates.

ASUE  Media  and Public Relations  Division  talked  to the  Branch Director  Sos  Khachikyan,  he  mentioned that celebration of  the  Branch  foundation  had  become  a  beautiful  tradition.  “38  scientific articles  were  presented during the  conference,  and  it’s  interesting  that MA students were  also  involved and  they  presented  co-authored  articles  with  the  lecturers.  The  evening  measure  was  attended  by  about 160”;  mentioned Sos  Khachikyan  and  added  that  the  materials  of  the conference  will  also  be  published.
