SEMINAR ON “ECONOMIC GROWTH TRENDS OF THE RA IN CASE OF MEMBERSHIP TO CU”

Today,  scientific seminar  on  “Economic growth  trends  of  the  RA in case  of  membership  to CU”  was  held  within the  framework of  “Issues of Spherical Development of Economics and Fiscal Policy of the  RA in Case  of  Membership to CU ” program at  “AMBERD”  Research  Center.  The  performers  of  the  program  are  Frida  BAHARYAN,  Candidate in Economics, Associate Professor  and  Hasmik  HOVAKIMYAN, PhD.

Frida  BAHARYAN  spoke   about  harmonization of tax systems, stages  of  harmonization  process, main directions  of harmonization of direct taxes  and  presented  interesting  facts  by  slide  show, after  the  end  of  the  report  she  answered  the  participants’ questions.

Hasmik  HOVAKIMYAN presented  economic  comparison of   a  number  of countries  of  the  RA  and  CU,  then  risks towards increasing  economic growth, export-import  factors, indexes  of global,  innovative competitiveness, migration factors of  gross competitiveness  with  the  FR (2013),  summary  of  fiscal indicators  of  2013-2015, rates of imported goods  of  the  RA  and  CU, spoke  about  strategic plan  of  tax and customs harmonization.

After  the presentations  the Research Group Facilitator, Mikayel MELKUMYAN, Head  of  the  Chair  of  Microeconomics and Organization of Entrepreneurial Activities, Doctor of Economics, Professor,   highlighted  the  atmosphere  of  equality in the  “AMBERD”.

“I  would  like  to mention that  “AMBERD” is a serious partner for  us and I want to stress the importance of the current atmosphere of mutual understanding here”;  mentioned  the professor.

The Director of  the  Research  Center, Samvel  Avetisyan, expressed  the satisfaction,  and  considering the  presented research  as  an interesting  one,  wished  the  team  new  success.
