TODAY IS LIBRARY WORKERS DAY: IT WAS CELEBRATED AT ASUE

Today is Library Workers Day. The  Vice-rector of  Science  and  International  Relations, Gagik  Vardanyan,  Head  of  Science  Division, Khoren Mkhitaryan, visited  the  Library  to  congratulate  on  professional holiday. Directorate of library organized an exhibition  of  books, monographs which  had  been published  in “Tntesaget”  publication in 2008-2014.

Gagik  Vardanyan, evaluating  the  job  of  Library Workers,  formulated  their  profession as knowledge workers.  The Vice-rector  referred  to work  conducted  by the Library, in particular, the book fund digitization process.

“Library Workers job  in addition to being responsible, is a joyful  one: few are destined to work with young people. I wish You success  and new  achievements  in this difficult but gratifying work”; wished  Gagik Vardanyan.

Director  of  ASUE  Library, Armine Hovhannisyan, also  evaluated the  professional  holiday. In the  interview  with Media  and Public  Relations  Division  she  mentioned; “The  State  also attaches  great  importance  to Library Workers, as  they  should exactly  guide readers,  satisfy  their  demands. This job  is  both  responsible   and  pleasure  one, as  You deal  with  books  every  day, which is  one  of  the world’s  noblest  values”.
