SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR ON “PROSPECTS OF FINANCIAL MARKET DEVELOPMENT IN THE RA”
Today a scientific seminar entitled “Prospects of Financial Market Development in the RA” was conducted at the Department of Finance, Armenian State University of Economics, which was initiated by the Chair of Banking and Insurance. The seminar was attended by Vice-rector of Science and International Relations Gagik Vardanyan, lecturers, PhDs, students.
Acting Head of the mentioned Chair Anna Aslanyan welcomed the participants and also suggested that such seminars would become a tradition. She also mentioned that discussions on current economic problems were useful and interesting.
4 PhDs, Gor Sahakyan, Asya Khalatyan, Gayane Harutyunyan and Gohar Hovhannisyan, presented reports during the seminar.
After the presentations the PhDs answered the questions raised by the auditorium, discussion was held, Gagik Vardanyan made active inquiries.
In the interview with ASUE Media and Public Relations Division the Vice-rector of Science and International Relations highlighted the initiative of the Chair to conduct such seminar, and noted that such discussions were instructive for both the students and PhDs, appropriate research skills were being formed, which became the basis for person’s involvement in scientific activities, as well as for success in other areas.
The seminar was important for the students. “These seminars are definitely very important: they complement our knowledge and help to evaluate our abilities and to prepare for similar performances”; said the 3rd year student Roza Vardanyan.
