SERIAL PRESENTATION OF RESEARCH AT “AMBERD”

Presentation of  research conducted by research team of  Master Degree  Program students was  held  today  at  ASUE “AMBERD”  Research Center, which  was  attended  by the  staff  of the Center,  headed  by Samvel Avetisyan,  Gagik  Vardanyan, Vice-Rector of Science and International Relations, Khoren Mkhitaryna, Head of Science Division, Atom Margaryan, Dean of the Department of Regulation of Economy and International Economic Rеlations.

Groups  of  young  researchers have worked under  guidance of  Vardan  Atoyan,  Candidate in Economics, Director  of National  Security Research  Program  at “AMBERD” Research Center.  A part  of  researchers: Roza Budaghyan, Ruzanna Tadevosyan, Lilit Azaryan  presented their  research  topic  entitled “The  Study  of  the  Best Experience  of  Leading Universities  and the Investment Opportunities  at  ASUE” (speaker Ruzanna Tadevosyan), and the main aims and objectives of  the  research. They  spoke  about the  World  leading Universities within the  framework  of the topic,  presented their  ratings and classification principles, scientific-research  activities carried out by Universities, international cooperation, innovation, etc.

Another group  of  researchers: Karapet Keveyan, Edgar Tagharyan, Shushan Movsisyan, presented  the  research topic  entitled “Armenia’s Economic Security Issues  in the  Context  of  Regional Development”.  Speakers Karapet Keveyan  and  Edgar  Tagharyan,  presenting the research, spoke  about the South Caucasus: military-political  role in the  World, Armenia's economic security issues.

Relations between Armenia and neighboring countries, the interactions of superpower  states and Caucasian countries, the main factors hindering them, as well as Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and its resolution steps were  discussed  within the  framework  of the  topic.

Both groups had  carried out  detailed studies and were enthusiastic about  conducting research work.

Master Degree Program students  also presented their proposals.

After the speakers’  presentations  Gagik  Vardanyan, Samvel Avetisyan  and  Atom Margaryan  made  inquiries.  They  also  highly  evaluated the research work conducted  by young  researchers.  Gagik Vardanyan highlighted the choice of  the important  and  interesting  topic   and  mentioned  that  ASUE,  among  the  Armenian Universities, carried  out unprecedented research activity in the  face  of “AMBERD”.

Samvel Avetisyan mentioned  that these studies were mainly cognitive  and  directed the young researchers to carry out the practical part  of  research.
