ASUE GIRL’S CHESS TEAM WON THE 2nd PLACE: INTERUNIVERSITY 15TH REPUBLIC SPORT GAMES

The  RA Universities Student 15^th Republic Sport Games launched on  March 26  in  Chess House  named  after  Tigran Petrosyan. Chess  teams  of  different  Universities  in Armenia  participated  in chess tournament on March 26-28. 

ASUE  girl’s chess  team won the 2^nd place  with 14 points, and  ASUE  boy’s chess  team  won the 4^th place. ASUE  students  Lusine Torosyan  and  Lilit  Matevosyan won the 2^nd  and 3^rd places in  individual  games.

In the  interview  with ASUE  Media  and Public  Relations  Division a  lecturer  at  the  Chair  of  Physical Training, First Aid and Civil Defense, coach of ASUE  chess  team Lyudmila  Hovhannisyan mentioned  that our University both girls and boys teams had shown a good game.

Our  chess  players  got silver medals,  chess  teams  got  certificates.

We  congratulate our  chess  players  and  wish  them  new achievements.
