The  letter book  of  Philip  Dormer Stanhope Chesterfield “Letters  to  My  Son”  was  published  by translation and commentary of  Yuri Hovakanyan,  a  lecturer  at  the  Chair  of  Philosophy  and Armenian History  at  ASUE,  Candidate  in  Philosophy,  Associate  Professor.

“Each book is addressed to a certain group of people: depends  on   their  preferences and specialty.  This  letter  book  is addressed to  everybody… These  could  be “Letters”  of  Our  Parents  directed to  Us, which  we address  to  our  Children…”; it was mentioned  in the  introduction.

In the  interview  with  ASUE  Media  and  Public  Relations  Division Yuri  Hovakanyan, the  author  of  translation (from Russian),  mentions  that Father  needs   to  speak  and talk  with his  son after  50 years  old.

“After  translating  the  letters,  I  realize  that  these  are  the  words  and  advice  I  want  to  tell  my  son.  These  letters  have  been  already   translated,  but  they are not accessible to readers. In  addition,  the  content  was  translated,  not  the  form  of  the  letter,  hence, the  book should  be  useful for  everybody”;  said  Yuri  Hovakanyan.
